Supporting The Cycle This International Women’s Day

Our charity partner's work toward dignity, opportunity and equity for women throughout India.

At Nudea, we believe underwear should support you in every sense of the word. That means creating beautifully designed, responsibly made essentials whilst also using our platform to support women beyond our own community.

This International Women’s Day, we’re proud to deepen our commitment to our charity partner, The Cycle. On 8th March, we’ll be donating £2 from every sale to support their work advancing menstrual dignity, clean water access and women’s leadership in India.

Because confidence doesn’t start with what you wear. It starts with dignity, opportunity and equity.

Why The Cycle’s Work Matters

Last month, The Cycle community gathered in India for their annual trip, an immersive opportunity to see how long-term, community-led change takes shape on the ground.

In government schools, things like safe toilets, handwashing facilities and access to clean drinking water are transforming daily routines for students, especially girls. When infrastructure supports their needs, attendance improves, confidence grows and classrooms become places of focus and possibility.

Alongside this, “Happy Periods” sessions create open conversations about menstruation, bringing boys and girls together to challenge stigma and build understanding. Delivered alongside safe sanitation and water access, this is what true menstrual equity looks like: education, infrastructure and cultural change working together.

For us at Nudea, this connection is clear. We design underwear to support women through every phase of life - including their periods. But products alone are not enough. Dignity is built through systems.

Beyond the Classroom: Water, Climate and Women’s Leadership

The impact extends far beyond schools. Across communities, restored water bodies, water quality testing and climate-smart practices are strengthening water security and livelihoods. And women are actively managing local water sources, ensuring stewardship remains rooted in the community.

What makes this work so powerful is how interconnected it is. Water, sanitation, menstrual dignity, climate resilience and women’s leadership are not separate strands, they reinforce one another.

How Your Purchase Makes a Difference

On International Women’s Day, £2 from every Nudea sale will go directly to The Cycle to support this integrated, community-led work.

It’s a small action that contributes to something much bigger, supporting access to safe water, menstrual education and infrastructure that enables girls and women to thrive.

When you shop with Nudea on 8th March, you’re not just investing in better underwear. You’re investing in dignity, education and opportunity for women and girls globally.
