The Problem With Traditional Silk
Conventional silk production has a quiet cost that rarely makes it onto the label. Harvesting silk in its traditional form typically requires the silkworm to be killed within its cocoon, alongside the considerable water, land and energy demands of sericulture itself. It's a process that hasn't changed much in centuries and one that sits increasingly at odds with how we think about modern, conscious luxury.
We wanted to offer something different: the same indulgent feel, with none of that compromise.
Meet the Fibres
Cupro is made from cotton linter. The short fibres left behind during cotton processing that would otherwise go to waste. These by-products are regenerated into a smooth, silky fibre with a natural lustre and exceptional drape.
Ecovero™ viscose is crafted from wood pulp sourced from responsibly managed forests, produced using a process designed to significantly reduce environmental impact compared with conventional viscose production.
Together, they create a fabric that feels luxurious against the skin while reflecting genuine care in how it's made cruelty-free, resourceful, and considered from fibre to finish.
