A More Thoughtful Future

 Inside Our 2026 Sustainability Report

At Nudea, sustainability isn’t a single initiative. It’s a continuous commitment to doing better, with intention, transparency and care.

Our 2026 Sustainability Report reflects the progress we’ve made over the past year, as well as the challenges we continue to navigate as we grow. From materials and manufacturing to circularity and community impact, here are some of the key moments shaping our journey.

The Bigger Picture

The fashion industry remains one of the largest contributors to global emissions, responsible for an estimated 8-10% of global carbon emissions. It also consumes vast amounts of water and generates significant waste, with most garments eventually ending up in landfill.

Underwear, in particular, is often overlooked. With a typical lifespan of just 6-12 months, millions of pieces are discarded every year, rarely recycled due to material complexity and hygiene perceptions .

This is where thoughtful design and long-term thinking matter most.

Designing for Circularity

At the core of our approach is circular design. That means creating pieces that are made to last, easy to care for, and considered from beginning to end.

We focus on:

- Durability and longevity to reduce overconsumption

- Lower-impact materials to minimise environmental footprint

- End-of-life solutions, including recycling and take-back programmes

Because sustainability doesn’t end at purchase, it continues through how we wear, care for and eventually part with our garments.

Materials That Matter

One of the most impactful changes happens at the material level.

In 2025:

- 62% of our materials were natural

- 29% were recycled fibres

- Just 8% remained virgin synthetic (deadstock)

We’ve also increased our use of organic cotton, which has:

- 45% lower emissions

- 14% less water usage

- Minimal reliance on harmful pesticides

Our goal is clear: 100% natural or recycled fabrics by 2026.

Extending Product Lifespan

Sustainability also lives in the everyday.

Our garment aftercare initiative, including complimentary wash bags and care guidance, helps extend the life of each piece. In 2025 alone, this prevented an estimated 700 bras from ending up in landfill prematurely .

We’ve also relaunched the Nudea Fit Tape, helping customers find the right fit at home - reducing returns, minimising waste and improving overall comfort.

Closing the Loop

Circularity means creating solutions beyond the product itself.

Through our recycling programme:

- 2,630 bras were recycled in 2025

- That's 51% of annual bra sales

We’ve now expanded this programme to include sleepwear and underwear, making it easier to keep more garments out of landfill.

A More Thoughtful Way Forward

Sustainability at Nudea is about balance - between comfort and responsibility, design and longevity, growth and accountability.

Our focus for the future is clear:

- Achieve 100% natural or recycled materials

- Increase bra recycling participation to 60%

- Expand renewable energy use across suppliers

- Continue reducing carbon at source

Because progress isn’t about perfection. It’s about continuously doing better.

Every choice we make is an opportunity to improve.

And we’re just getting started.
