Picnic Chats with Kelly Eastwood

We talk sustainability, summer style and the perfect cotton dress with The London Chatter

This summer, we gathered under the sun with friends of the brand to celebrate the launch of Nudea’s Capsule Summer Dress Collection - a beautifully curated edit of easy, elevated dresses made for warm days and long nights.

To mark the occasion, we hosted a dreamy garden picnic filled with good company, great style and even better conversations. Co-hosting the event was the effortlessly chic Kelly Eastwood: influencer, fashion editor and founder of The London Chatter. Known for her timeless style and love of sustainable fashion, Kelly brought her signature charm to the day.

We sat down with her for a quick catch-up about the collection, summer staples and her go-to spots in London...

What’s been your favourite thing about hosting the Nudea Summer Picnic?

I’ve loved introducing Nudea, along with some other small brands, to my friends. It’s been such a lovely way to share what I love with people I care about.

What’s do you love about about Nudea?

I love that you can wear so many of the pieces from day to night. It makes packing super easy - they’re all really light, versatile and everything is beautifully, sustainably made. That’s such a big one for me.

What are you wearing today?

I’m wearing the little black slip dress from the new collection and I love it. I can already tell this one’s going to be on heavy rotation.

How are you styling it?

With some Le Specs sunglasses, my Chanel Dad sandals, and - very importantly - a good fake tan!

What’s your favourite thing about summer in London?

Just being outside more! Less time huddled up indoors and more time in nature. It’s such a joy, especially here at Battersea Park's Subtropical Garden - surrounded by all these palm trees.

Is there anywhere else you’d recommend visiting this summer?

You might be asking the wrong person - I’m a mum, so the first thing that comes to mind is the new dinosaur exhibition at the Natural History Museum! But if that’s not your vibe, I’d say go to Notting Hill. I’m from there and everywhere is always a vibe.
